It’s the year 2020. COVID-19, a pandemic that has swept through our world, impacted our country, and has taken so many lives, now requires for us to observe the holiest week of our Christian calendar in our own homes, physically distant from the familiarity of our regular worship services.
We could be disappointed under these less than ideal circumstances, or we could embrace this divine disruption and like Christ at the last supper, give thanks in brokenness. We can take, eat, and truly become one with the words, “This is my body broken for you.” (Luke 22:29)
This year, we invite you to the transformative experience of observing Holy Week at Home. Together, during this series, we will go deeper than we’ve ever gone before. We will encounter the true wonder of Christ’s passion and resurrection.
This week, let’s go on a journey from Palm Sunday on April 5th all the way to Resurrection Sunday on April 12th. We have activities tailored for you. Whether you are an individual sheltering in place, a household of adults, or a family with children, we want you to embrace these activities and enter into this week with a prepared sacredness.
Here’s exactly what you need for Holy Week at Home, a series designed by Shekinah Christian Fellowship during COVID-19.
