This summer, Shekinah will host worship services at the Bayview Opera House located at 4705 3rd Street in San Francisco. We are thrilled about this opportunity to serve our neighbors and community. For us, this is an exciting, new beginning.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
New beginnings are a core tenant of our everlasting hope.
New beginnings are the key ingredients to our divinely inspired endurance. New beginnings are critical elements that serve as a reminder of our potential, possibilities, and promises in God.
New Beginnings originate in our resurrected Savior Jesus Christ and they are marked by praise.
Transitions are patented by zealous praise, changes are initiated by expressive thanksgiving, and conversions are commenced by powerful singing.
The angels praised God in the beginning during creation. The Israelites praised God after they crossed over the Red Sea. David praised God when the ark of God was brought into Jerusalem. All of heaven even praises God when a new believer is birthed into the kingdom.
In other words, Christ is our “New Beginning”, and every time we celebrate Him with our praise, endless possibilities, unlimited potential and unending promises are released into our lives.
So, in this next stage of ministry, we enter it with thanksgiving in our hearts, praise on our lips, and appreciation for the great things that God is doing through us.
