Scripture: St Matthew 2:1-12
Christmas will not authorize believers to confuse darkness with hopelessness. Hope reminds us, that evening was intended to mark the beginning of a new day and the cosmic star flung into ceiling of the night sky marked the birth of Our Redeemer. The wise men seeking the star of the nativity story remind us that faith sparks the flame of curiosity at the possibility of discovery, faith will move towards the light that God offers in the night, and faith will worship even without the performance of a miracle because the light offered is evidence enough.
