Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the customizr domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. God is Up to Something

St Luke 2:8-20 (NRSV)

When we place our trust in God, we should expect new life to emerge as something small can end up as something big. Believers must resist the temptation to move at the world’s pace that overlooks small things by being courageous enough to look for something new, show a willingness to learn something unexpected, and to deeply treasure and ponder what is being done in small things. Even a small thing of God is still a thing of God..

Point #1: Don’t be afraid to look for something new. Verse 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: 11 to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.

Point #2: Display a willingness to learn something unexpected. Verse 2:15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go now to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Point #3: Deeply treasure and ponder what is being done. Verse 2:18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds told them. 19 But Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart.

Journaling Prompts:

How can we learn to properly assess the minor moments of our life? What should we do when we find ourselves in uncharted territory? What should we do when we know that God is up to something?
