Romans 8:1-11 (ESV)
The Same Spirit that raised Christ gives each of us life to experience resurrection in relationships. Believers have access to resurrection power that fosters life and makes us free because of Christ Spirit living within. Those that live in Christ cannot be condemned, set their minds on the things of the Spirit, and have resurrection power flourishing in us to live out salvation in our bodies.
Point #1: Those that live in Christ cannot be condemned. Verse 1-2 (ESV) 1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
Point #2: Those that live in Christ set their minds on the things of the Spirit. Verse 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
Point #3: Christ resurrection power flourishes in us to live out salvation in our bodies. Verse 10-11 (ESV) 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
