St. Matthew 2:1-12 (ESV)
The incarnation reiterates God’s desire to dwell among us that He might renew His image in us. The wise men remind us that Christmas is the celebration of the incarnation and we shouldn’t trivialize the treasure of God’s presence nor allow the indifference of others to keep us from rejoicing. But when we find Christmas moments in our life, we should worship with a sincere sense of adoration that reverences God with our true presence that includes the giving of gifts.
Point #1: Don’t trivialize the treasure of God’s presence. Verse 2:2 “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
Point #2: Don’t let the indifference of others keep you from rejoicing. Verse 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
Point #3: Be ready to worship with a sense of present adoration. Verse 2:11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. 12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

What can these wise men teach us about how we can find Christmas moments in our midst? What mindset should we possess when seeking Christmas moments? How should we be ready to celebrate when Christmas moments are revealed?
