God’s people are nourished by scripture and we thrive best when we take it into our lives. God’s word evokes an alternative mindset to the perception of the dominant culture that energizes us to fresh forms of faithfulness and living with a revived imagination. When our imagination has been refreshed with God’s word we move with definitive purpose in the Father’s will, become satisfied with the treasure we have found in Christ, and are strengthened by the unique dignity that we experience with the Holy Spirit.
