Lesson Overview
In Timothy 4, Paul stressed that at time of great apostasy would parallel the church are. People would embrace demonically inspired teachings and reject what should be received from the Lord with gratitude. He commented that a loyal servant of Christ will combat corrupt teaching by proclaiming truth. he also will deal with the presence of irreverence by pursuing godliness.
Life Awareness
The longer we are Christians, the greater our hunger should be for accurate Bible teaching. We also should have increased desire to know the best way to live for God. As we study this week’s lesson, we will discover that false doctrines abound and that we need to reject them for the truth. We additionally will find that how we act is very important to God. From our tine in the Word, our commitment to serve the Lord with honesty and diligence should increase.
